Gtek wants you to have a stress-free move. One of the headaches when moving is searching for a new provider and all of the fees incurred for a new installation. With Gtek, relocating your services from your current location to your new location is simple and easy! From Hallettsville down to Falfurrias, we are available all over the Coastal bend area. An average relocation only takes about 2 hours.

You shouldn’t have to stress about moving your internet. As long as you are within range of our services, we can relocate you. Get connected and have the ability to relax without worrying about searching for a new provider, call a representative to get scheduled!

How do I begin to relocate my Gtek services to my new address?

Begin with calling us first at (361) 777-1400 and get scheduled. The sooner the better, it allows us to work with you and your family to get rolling!

Does Gtek charge for relocating services?

Yes. Our team will physically remove your current terrestrial wireless equipment (cabling, power supply, radio, poles, mounting equipment, etc.) and relocate them to the new address (or sometimes upgrade the equipment for the new location). For this service, we only charge $95 plus tax to relocate from your old address to your new address. Ask our customer service representative how we can work with you!

When can I move my services to the new address?

We can schedule your relocation 30 days ahead, 60 days, or whenever you are ready. We want to be able to provide you with a stress-free account transfer so that’s why it’s helpful for you to call us in advance.

What if my new location isn’t serviceable?

We understand and respect your loyalty for wanting to stick with the Gtek family. We are looking forward to expanding around the South Texas area. If we don’t currently have service at your location please call us and we will set up a date to collect the equipment at your location.

Can I take the equipment with me?

Yes, we will take care of the outside equipment for you! Our customer service representative will recommend you gather the inside equipment and move it to your new location. Any outdoor equipment Gtek will handle. Again, less stress for you!

What if I want to transfer services instead?

We can do that as well. If you have a family member, friend, or a new tenant moving into your old location who is willing to transfer services under their name, we can always do that. Typically, they would have to pay for the first month of service plus our transfer fee of $35.
